• Space optimization
  It allows for efficient use of space in rack cabinets, allowing storage of data media (e.g. hard drives, SSD drives, LTO tapes) in one easily accessible place. The solution allows for maintaining order and reducing the need to store media in separate locations. A special sensor shows the degree of drawer occupancy.
• Easy access to media
  In the case of environments using LTO tapes for backup, the rack drawer significantly facilitates tape management and rotation, providing quick access to data when needed. The rack drawer allows for quick access to stored media, thanks to the compartments you can easily organize media by type (tapes, disks).
• Scalability
  It is possible to mount multiple rack drawers in one rack cabinet, which allows for flexible adjustment of space to the needs of storing a large number of media. One module can hold up to 108 LTO tapes, a 47U cabinet up to 1620 media.
• Security
  The drawers protect the media from dust, mechanical damage and accidental fall and are waterproof. They are equipped with a security lock (key or electromagnetic lock) and sensors for environmental conditions in which the media are located.

Rack drawer: 3U and 4U

ProDevice MSS drawers are a comprehensive solution for companies and institutions that require secure, organized and monitored storage of data media in professional environments.

• The 3U version holds up to 108 LTO tapes without packaging or 60 3.5″ HDDs arranged horizontally.

• The 4U version offers the possibility of storing up to 108 LTO tapes without packaging or up to 90 3.5″ HDDs in a vertical position.
